2 in a row! Yeah me!!!

Hello again! Wow 2 posts in a row. I think I'm doing good. Today hasn't been a very good day. I've been sick most of the day. I've been having dizzy spells and I've been really nauseated (sp?). But I'm feeling better now. Someone got a prayer through. Thank the Lord. I'm still a little dizzy but I feel much better than I did earlier today.

I forgot to tell you all that my sweet husband went into the store after church on Sunday night to buy dog food and when he came out he had bought me a beautiful bouquet of cut flowers. They are so pretty. They are still alive and as pretty as they were Sunday. Here's a pic.

Aren't they pretty. I guess Couple's Retreat is still working on him. He is still being very sweet. And he's been opening the door for me everytime we get in the car. That is too cool. I'm sorry if I'm old fashioned but that makes a girl feel pretty special.

Well the kids are doing pretty good. They are doing well in school. Dalton is really doing good in reading. He's starting to enjoy it too. He used to hate it and I had such a hard time trying to get him to read. But Hooked on Phonics is great for children that are having a hard time. He's been doing it all year and it is helping him a lot.

Madison was going around the house today singing "When we all get to heaben, what a day of joycing that will end, when we all see Jejus." I love to hear her singing songs from the blue book and most of the time she gets the words wrong and Dalton tries to correct her and he gets the words wrong. It's funny! The other day they were playing the playstation and they won the game and in this particular game when you win. it says across the screen VICTORY! And they both started singing "Victory in Jesus, my Saviour forever!" They are completely nuts.

Well this will probably be it for blogging until next week. We are leaving Saturday to go spend the day with some friends down near Decatur and then we are visiting Somerville and West Lawrence churches on Sunday for our VLB boost. Hope you all have a great weekend!

WOW! YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!!! WA HOO!!! Two days in a ROW! I'm so PROUD of you! And such a GOOD post, too; newsy and just sharing what's on you mind. I liked it! The kids sound too cute. I should have taken the time to get formally introduced to them when I was in Bessemer last week.
Thanks for sharing the picture of the flowers and news that your husband is an A+ graduate of his first Couple's Retreat! :-) And I'm excited to get to tell Brother Smith that at least one of the men has been transformed since Retreat! *giggling* You wouldn't believe how many men have gotten into trouble and fussed at Brother Smith over his opening car doors for me! HA! But you're right, it DOES make a girl feel special. And I NEVER apologize for being "old fashioned." I'm proud to be old fashioned. If we ALL were old-fashioned the world would be a much nicer place!

Brother Ray has been opening doors for me for many years, but every now and again, he forgets until he realizes that he is ready to start the vehicle and I'm still standing outside waiting for him to open the door. ~giggle~ I don't NEED a man to open doors for me, but I WANT them to open doors for me. I feel more like a lady then. ~grin~
