My baby graduated Kindergarten

Well my baby is growing up. I can't believe that she has graduated Kindergarten! She will be 6 this August. It's happening too fast. She graduated on Thursday night and I thought I'd share some pics with you all. This is Dalton and Madison. Dalton hates pictures, so this was a major accomplishment. I tried to get her to kiss him on the cheek and they both yelled NO!

Here she is lining up to go get a group picture made. She was so scared. She said Mommy don't leave me. She hasn't left me much since the day she was born.
Since there was not many Kindergarteners graduating in our homeschool, they had a combined graduation with the Seniors and here she is with her Senior escort. She looks so tiny, doesn't she?

Here she is in there group photo. She's the one in the middle on the front row.

Unlike her brother, she loves to pose for the camera. She does different poses and this night, I took about 50 pics of just her.

Here she is with my mom and dad.

Here is our family pic. I thought this one turned out really good. If I could get Will to smile a little bit more.

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day. Ours was really great. We invited mom and dad over to cookout with us. We had Steak, burgers, polish sausages, potato salad and green beans (dad and Madison's request). We made homemade ice cream and I made 2 lemon pies. I just had to post this picture of Madison. She loves the whipped cream that I make for my pies, so when I got done mixing it, she started licking my mixer whisk, then she licked the bowl clean. This is her licking the whisk.

Isn't she a mess. She is such a girl. She stayed in the kitchen watching how everything was made today and wanted to help. Anyway, hope I didn't bore you guys too much. Hope you all had a great holiday. Till next time.

Late Mother's day news

I haven't had much time to blog lately, but I had a really great Mother's Day. I woke up to my kids right in my face shouting " Happy Mother's Day." The men at our church cooked breakfast for all of the Ladies. Boy was it good. We had eggs, biscuits, gravy, grits, bacon, sausage, pancakes, with our choice of fruits and whip cream. They did an awesome job.

My kitchen is decorated with apple stuff and my old cabinet knobs kept breaking on me. So Will bought me some new ones for Mother's day. Aren't they pretty? He also bought me some new apple rugs but they are on backorder and haven't gotten here yet.

Will also found me this beautiful rose bush at Wal-Mart. It was the only pink one in the midst of all the red bushes. I am in love with this bush. It's beautiful!

Here's my white one that I already had. It's finally blooming.

I thought you all might like this story. I asked Will to take this shelf thing down cause I really don't use it for anything and I want to make this wall a picture wall. Well the kids obviously overheard me talking to him and they started coloring. Next thing I know they were getting tape and taping their pictures to the wall. I said "What are yall doing?" They said we're helping you with your picture wall, mom. I thought that was the cutest thing. They surprise me a lot here lately. Life is never boring with children.

We were also very blessed to attend the opening BTI service on Mother's Day. My dad preached an awesome message. It was the best I've heard him preach in a while. God really anointed him. Also Will was glad to be able to see his mom on Mother's Day. We surprised her, she didn't even know we were coming. Here's a picture of them that Dalton took at IHOP, that night.

Well yall have a blessed evening. I hope you all are doing well. God bless.

Ways to have fun at Wal-Mart

I got this on email and couldn't resist.

1. Set all the alarm clocks to go off at ten minute intervals throughout the day.

2. Walk up to an employee and tell him in an official tone, "I think we've got a Code 3 in housewares" and see what happens.

3. Test the fishing rods and see what you can "catch" from the other isles.

4. Challenge other customers to duels with tubes of gift wrap.

5. Put M& M's on layaway.

6. Move "Caution, wet floor" signs to carpeted areas.

7. Set up a tent in the camping dept. and tell others you'll only invite them if they'll bring pillows from Bed and Bath.

8. When someone asks you if you need help, begin to cry and ask "Why won't you people leave me alone?"

9. Take up an entire isle in Toys by setting up a full scale battlefield with GI Joe Vs. X-Men.

10. Ask every customer one at a time if they have any Grey Poupon

11. Dart around suspiciously while humming the theme from "Mission Impossible"

12. Set up a "Valet Parking" sign in front of the store.

13. Hide in the clothing racks and when people browse through say things like "Pick me, Pick me"

14. Go to an empty checkout stand and try to check people out.

15. Drag a lounge chair on display over to the magazines and relax.

Now I would never do most of these things but you have to admit they are funny. Hope yall enjoy.

Here's Will blowing out his candles on his birthday. He doesn't like this picture, but oh well! Hee Hee

Here's his cake. It's a fresh apple cake (his favorite). If you've never tried it, it's easy to make and real good.
This is a cloud that I saw in the sky the other day and thought it was beautiful, so I took a pic. Then I just couldn't stop singing this old song, "The Cloud that he's coming back on", so I googled the words and I'm going to post them under the pic for your enjoyment. I don't know about you but I can't wait till his returning. I hope this song blesses you like it has me for the last few weeks.

The Cloud He's Coming Back On

Verse 1:
Early one morning I walked out the doorway, stopped to look up to the sky. I was thinkin' that this may be the exact day when Jesus will sound off the cry. There was nothin' but blue skies, but one little white cloud, slowly slippin' along. I got so excited that I shouted out loud, "This may be the cloud He's comin' back on!"

Chorus:
This may be the cloud He's comin' back on, for we all know that it's not long. The signs for the learning point to His returning, and I've got a longing for home. I keep my eye on the sky, and I do what He says do, soon I will hear Jesus' cry. Gabriels' trumpet will sound and I'll lift off the ground to the cloud that He's comin'back on .
Verse 2:
Well, when your feelin' just a little blue, now don't let your troubles get you downJust leave your sorrows behind, step outside, take the time to look all around. Well, keep your eye on the sky and get ready to fly, when you see the cloud slippin' along. You may get so excited, that you'll shout it out loud, "This may be the cloud He's comin'back on!"

Alot to catch up on

Hey everybody! I've been trying to post pictures for the last couple of days and somethings going on. Now I think they are working. A lot has been going on the last couple of weeks.

My husband works for Mercedes and every year they have a highway cleanup day and they reward us for cleaning up the highway by giving us free T-shirts, other free stuff, cooking us lunch and letting us fish in their pond (it's only fished out of one time a year). This was our first year to go and we had a lot of fun. Will caught his first catfish ever. It was a good size. The kids didn't catch anything but they had fun anyway.

Last weekend, Will was on night shift so Friday night me and the kids went to Jasper, AL church for revival. Bro. Leland Pendley was running revival there. Jasper church just recently purchased a new church building. They have been looking at this building for a couple of years and the people that were selling it didn't want to come down on their price.
So the pastor at Jasper and the members just kept praying for a church building. Well a couple of months ago, the people called the pastor and offered it to them for 1/2 of what they were asking for it and also agreed to take payments and finance it for them. God answered prayers for them and they have a very nice building. The pics are below. We had a really good service and Bro. Pendley, as always preached very good.

This long hallway is down stairs and has a nice fellowship hall and lots of Sunday school rooms.

This last week has been very hectic. My van is in the shop, I was vacuuming it out on Saturday and found two holes in the carpet where screws were coming up through the floor. The factory forgot to put caps on the screws and caused it.
Now they are saying they may not fix it and it's under warranty. I don't know what to do. I don't want to show a bad spirit but I really don't think that's fair. Any advice?

We had a wonderful church service tonight. The devil is attacking the church at Bessemer. He is trying to get all of us down and discouraged. He is even coming against our children. My daughter in particular, says the devil keeps bothering her, telling her she doesn't love Jesus. And another girl that is 10 yrs. old at our church has been bothered by satan in a similar way. But a lot of us got prayer tonight and got our children prayed for. We are not going to be defeated. I keep telling my daughter, the devil is a liar and he's nothing. He knows she loves Jesus and that's why he's bothering her. So I taught her the song "O How I Love Jesus" and she sings it all the time now. I told her to sing that when he starts bothering her and it will make the devil know that she doesn't believe him. Please be praying for our local church and the State of Alabama. We want to be pleasing to the Lord and defeat the devil.
Our family camp is coming up and everything is starting to go wrong. Pray for our camp directors, Shawn & Crystal Womack. They are going through ALOT right now and they need your prayers.
Love you all and God bless!!!

Will's birthday

Hey everyone! Yesterday was Will's birthday. We had a really good day. The kids made him a card, they did really good. And I made him a Fresh Apple Cake (his favorite) for his birthday. We all spent the day together and I took him out to eat. He seemed to enjoy the day a lot. The kids were telling him happy birthday all day. I thank the Lord for my husband that God has given me. He means so much to me. He puts up with me and that is a full time job.
Hope all of you are doing well. Hopefully I'll have a longer post next time. God bless.
