Hey you guys! Just wanted to show off my pretty new back porch. This has been my hubby's after work project for the last couple of months. But now it's finished. Ain't it pretty. He's kind of disappointed in it, but I don't see why. I'm so happy that I have somewhere to sit while the kids are playing in the backyard now. Didn't my hubby do a great job.
There are stairs coming down to this landing (pic above) and then steps off to each side like below. So we can either go to the right and go to our back yard or go to the left to mom and dad's house. He really planned it out. Just thought I'd share my excitement.

He does hire out, but I don't know about Tennessee.
He has been disappointed with it, because some of the lumber they sold us was bad and it split after we put it together. But I think he did an awesome job. My dad had to help him on our front porch, but he did this all by himself. I'm very proud of him.
Wow! Very impressive! Will did good. I can see you now, sitting out in the evening with an iced tea or lemonade watching as the kids chase fireflies...*sigh* ENJOY your new deck!
