I want to apologize to everyone (especially Becky) about me being a sorry blogger. I know I'm a loser (ha ha). Then I get on here to blog and I have to do this crazy update thing (which is ridiculous). Anyway, I'm back, hopefully. We just got back from an Amazing Couples Retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN. Bro. and Sis. Horton from TCOG Lynchburg, VA were the directors. They did an amazing job.
Every speaker that they asked to come was anointed. We went there expecting some amazing services and we came back with even more than we expected. We had things affecting our marriage that we didn't even know were there and God woke us up this weekend. I thank God for giving these people the right things to say. They really followed the leading of the Lord.
Our marriage was strengthened this weekend. There was a message and interpretation given out, and the Holy Ghost told us that this is where it started (in our marriages). If we become one and have unity start in our homes then we will see revival start in the church. I believe this with my whole heart. My children have already seen a change in us since we've been home. My 8 year old son, said "mom, I'm glad you went to couple's retreat and I hope you go again next year." I know if they can see a difference there's a difference. Thank the Lord for a wonderful retreat. And also for allowing me and Will to get away "together", by ourselves for the first time in 8 years. It was so good to spend one on one time with him. I feel like I've fallen in love with him all over again. I have found a deeper respect for my husband this last weekend. I could go on and on. But thank the Lord for his changing power. If I can change anyone can.

Wonderful testimony abuot the Retreat! You should submit it to The Evening Light.
It was great to see you guys at the Retreat and I concur--it was a REAL blessing!
She lives! ;-) Great post. Wish we could've joined you for all of the blessings at Couple's Retreat--it sounds terrific!!!
Wow. I wish I could have been there for that retreat. Sister Jared told me that it was the best couples retreat she has ever been to. It is wonderful to get away with your husband sometimes. My husband and I don't get to get away very often either, but when we do it is nice. I agree with Sister Smith you should submit it to the Evening Light.
Hey girl! Yeah me and Bob enjoyed it too. :) (inside joke for you bloggers out there, no I AM NOT MARRIED). Oh hey, can you e-mail me some information on ya'lls youth camp?
I'll try, but it will be sometime next week. We are going to visit churches tomorrow.
Your "new commitment" to being a better blogger didn't last very long! Shame, shame. *shaking head*
I'm trying. I'll try to update soon.
YOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOooooooo!!! Where are you???
I'm trying to post pictures but my toolbar won't come up. So I'm trying to figure out why?? Sorry!!
