Hey you guys! Boy this has been a I love my husband but I wish he was at work day. Girls have you ever had one of those? If you didn't know Will works 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights. So, Will is on night shift this week, and I asked him to watch the kids so I could go to the grocery store by myself for a little break. Anyway, his reply was "I'll go with you so I can look at the clearance isle." I haven't bought groceries since before the Assembly. I've just been going to get what we needed at the moment. Okay, so I told him, "If you go, I don't want to be rushed." Because when he gets done looking at what he wants to look at he rushes me, saying things like "That wasn't on the list", "How many more things do you have to get". That drives me crazy!!!!!
So anyhoo, we all load up and go to the grocery store. We look at "his" clearance isle first, of course! Then we proceed to the grocery section, where the kids start to act up and start wanting everything in sight. So then Will starts going balistic because the kids are acting up. When I'm thinking all of this would not be happening if he would have stayed at home with them in the first place. So not only am I trying to get groceries and think of everything we need, I'm having to play referee between Will and the kids. So needless to say, I did not enjoy my Wal-Mart experience!
We did have a good homeschool night tonight though. When Will is on nights, we do school at night, so they can spend time with their dad during the day. I was doing Bible with Dalton and we were learning about Moses and he read almost a whole page by himself (just to catch you all up, he's been struggling with reading). So I am a very proud momma. He's doing great in school this year. Madison is also doing good, she's in Kindergarten. She knows all of her letters and she is learning her sounds really good too.
Anyway, I hope all of you are doing well. Hopefully I can write more later about my very interesting life!
